Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413078.

The 44 year old path has given up and the surface of approximately 2.5meters is stones. The local children play on scooters and run along this path which is now dangerous. This has been reported twice before over the last 6 years and has become considerably worse over that time, but no action has been taken.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
Due to current budget constraints, we are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
