Pavement from Birch Close running from outside 1, Birch Close along High Street
Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 20:03, Mon 14 October 2024
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413160.
Hedges along boundary of property being 1 , Birch Close that runs along the High Street are very overgrown over the pavement reducing width and so having to walk on grass. This is the access to the village post box that is now also being swallowed by the hedge. This postbox used to be freestanding not engulfed by the hedge.

CBC can issue a letter to the property, requesting that they cut their vegetation back from the footway, and postbox.

This hedge remains terribly overgrown and although a section has been cut back very slightly a section is now almost covering the path, so much so that pedestrians are forced onto the grass. The actual width that the path should be is clear from the path adjacent to the property on the opposite side of the road. This hedge requires drastic reduction because will swamp the path once the growing season recommences.
