Overgrown footpath

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414592.

The bushes on the left-hand-side pavement up Hitchin Road are now increasingly overgrown + make the footpath difficult to use, particularly for prams + wheelchairs. The issue was raised in August but, three months later, has not been rectified.

  • Hello, thanks for the report. These hedges are all privately owned by different owners. We will inspect, identify the problem areas, and issue letters to the properties whose vegetation is affecting the footway.
