Opposite the entrance to Rowley Furrows

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 22:22, Mon 2 December 2024

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415219.

Trees are overhanging the road causing damage to vehicles and buses as they pass. It needs cutting back all the way along.

  • Thank you for your Highways report.

All that vegetation is managed by the Countryside team, we will inform them of your report but their response will be the same if it were Highways' responsibility:

Due to the restricted budgets we are now working with in comparison to previous years, we are having to prioritise the defects that pose a higher risk in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan. This does mean that not every defect reported to us will be considered as a priority for repair, as we need to ensure what budget we do have is being put towards addressing the most safety critical issues on the network at that moment in time.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
