Outside and to the left of the drive to 25 School Lane, Southill
Reported via mobile in the Drains/Ditches Blocked category anonymously at 11:32, Monday 6 January 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416539.
There is a road drain directly outside and to the left of the gravel drive entering the 25 School Lane, Southill property. The verge is regularly parked on by parents visiting the school opposite due to restricted parking in the area. Parking on the verge churns the grass up and causes mud to be spread and this the mud blocks subsequently blocks the drain, causing a significant pool of water which prevents foot access to the 25 School Lane property during and following average or higher rainfall. The issue has been present for a couple of months and the drain is currently full of mud and you can no longer access the property by foot and the drain needs to be cleared to allow road water drainage to occur again.
