  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 10:35, Thursday 16 January 2025

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

As this road isn't constructed with a standard surface, the best the Area Maintenance Team can do is temporary repairs, as patching works would not succeed here.
You would need to contact the Structural Maintenance Team for a permanent solution.

Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
